Many years ago, on a stormy summer evening, Tsunami on Kazimierz appeared unexpectedly - somewhere between wine, conversation, and friends. It was a painting vernissage at Eszeweria that surprised everyone and stayed in memory for a long time.

Today, Mateo returns in a new, more mature incarnation, drawing inspiration for his paintings from travels across four continents. This time, his works will be exhibited at Cafe Szafe, and the vernissage will be enriched by an acoustic concert by his band Dante & The Band.

The "re:naissance" vernissage is an exhibition of oil paintings on canvas, but also a symbolic moment of rebirth: a return to image, sound, and intimate presence. The paintings presented during the exhibition balance between dream and memory. These are quiet spaces, saturated with color, in which the human figure appears more as a trace than as a protagonist. Swimming pools, cities, the night sky, geometric landscapes - everything seems suspended just before movement, as if the world were holding its breath.

During the vernissage, there will be an intimate concert by Dante & The Band in a unique acoustic version. Mateo will perform calmly and sparingly, using only his voice and the sound of the ukulele. He will be joined on stage by Magda Zaręba - a jazz vocalist who performs regularly in Seville. Their joint performance is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to hear this duo together - intimate, unhurried, without distance.

During the concert, we also anticipate other musical guests and small surprises. You are warmly invited.
